Diablo Day Camp

Welcome to Diablo Day Camp, part of the Girl Scouts of Northern California community. In its 50+ years of operation, Diablo Day Camp has become a treasured summer camp experience for thousands of girls.

The camp is operated by the Diablo Day Camp Committee of volunteers from eleven local Girl Scout Service Units: Creekside, Cresta Blanca, Crossroads, Delta Gateway, Diablo Shadows, Harvest Sands, Lafayette, Las Trampas, Orinda-Moraga, San Ramon and Walnut Creek. Everyone working at camp is a volunteer.

Our mission is to “build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place” while fostering a love of the outdoors. Diablo Day Camp offers opportunities for girls to explore their limits, expand their skills, make new friends and appreciate the value of the people and the natural environment around them. Group experiences with dedicated, caring adults in a supportive environment allow girls to develop skills. Many of our former campers return as Elves (Program Aides) and as adult volunteer staff.

The DDC committee meets Oct-March, on the first Monday of the month, to plan for our 10 sessions of summer fun. If you love camp and want to help make it happen, join us
