Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Summer Experience Day Camp gives your child entering Grades 1-7 the opportunity to experience the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. During his or her week of camp, your child will visit all of the Zoo's regions and get an in-depth opportunity to learn about our natural world.

Your child will participate in a variety of fun activities designed to promote awareness of our environment. Some of the activities the campers will enjoy include arts & crafts, songs, games, hands-on animal experiences and group play. All of our camps will also include time spent enjoying numerous attractions at Jungle Jack's Landing on Monday-Thursday of each week.

Lots of time will be spent outdoors, so please make sure your child dresses accordingly. Leave their "best" clothes at home, but send them with plenty of sun block! We do provide an afternoon snack and a water bottle, but your child will need to bring their own lunch.

In addition, every camper will take home a specially designed t-shirt to help them remember their fun week. Campers will be required to wear their camp t-shirt every day. Additional shirts can be purchased when you register your child for camp for $10 per shirt. (Please purchase any additional shirts at registration, as we cannot guarantee we will have extras once camp begins.)
