Creative Play Center

We are The Creative Play Center Pre-School and after school program, the CPC Homework Club, located in Albany, CA. The Creative Play Center was founded in San Francisco in 1973 and moved to Berkeley in 1976. We have been in our current facility in Albany since 1980. The owner and Director of the program is Shelley Cadman. Shelley has a B.A. in Early Childhood Development and has been teaching for over 35 years. The CPC staff has experience and units in Early Childhood Education. The Creative Play Center provides a rich, nurturing environment for children. We create the conditions under which learning and fun takes place. We also focus on social and communication skills as well as respect among the children.
