I have taken French lesson from Marc for several years. I highly recommend him. He is a fantastic teacher, very precise and smart, and also warm and easy to be with. My French has greatly improved since I began private lessons with Marc.

I have known Mark for 10 years as his student, starting when I began taking French at CCSF. Working with him has increased my skills tremendously, not just in conversation, but grammar and reading comprehension. He is the next best thing to living in Paris!

I have taken classes from Marc and have known him for over 10 years. Marc is a super teacher. Not only is he a wonderful teacher, but, he is also a great translator. I have had him translate some complex letters and messages from French companies regarding travel, hotels, car rentals, etc. I can get around Paris quite well with my French knowledge thanks to Marc. A+++

I studied with Marc for 6 years and he took me from not knowing a single word of French to speak it well with my French business partners. Marc breaks everything down into small lesson plans that allow for a very deep understanding of pronunciation and everyday use. His training continues on.

I love studying French with Marc. Our sessions are the perfect combination of a strong base of grammar, a real-world "this is how everybody actually pronounces it" approach, and insightful usage tips. Marc keeps things fun and interesting, too. What more could you ask from a French tutor?

I studied French with Marc for over a year and would have continued but for health issues. He is a superb teacher with marvelous communication skills. He is a native French speaker so I learned about the culture in addition to the language. He was always prepared. Highest recommendation.

I've known Marc since 2003, and have had classes on and off with him since that time. He is very patient as a teacher, extremely personable and very, very punctual. My grammar & vocabulary improved tremendously after learning from Marc - far better than from any college courses I've taken.

Marc Gadelin is an incredible person and an even better French tutor. He taught me from age eight until my senior year in high school at San Francisco University High school. I am now at Yale University and placed in the highest level on the Yale french placement exam. Marc always makes lessons fun and engaging while laying out very clearly the needed information. He taught my sisters before me and I credit him 100% with my success in French. The best thing about Marc is his ability to taylor lessons and give information in the best way for YOU. Personally, I am a very visual learner, and his ability to draw up diagrams and lay information out will always be unforgettable to me. Marc is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is kind, understanding, patient and professional. Any one would be lucky to have Marc.
