Tutu School

This is the founding principle of Tutu School. We believe that motor skill development is infinitely enhanced by Tchaikovsky and Bach, that young imaginations benefit immensely from exploring the enchanted worlds of swans and sugar plums, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

- Tutu School's Ballet Birthday Parties are the perfect way to help your little swan or Sugar Plum Fairy celebrate their special day! Each and every party includes a brief ballet class, a special birthday story featuring the guest of honor, a delicious cupcake picnic, and delightful party favors. My little Stella lives for Tutu School. She started in the toddler program and now she's in the Ballet for Beginners class. Every single teacher is inspiring, sweet and clearly loves their job. Tutu School also has lots of extra perks like holiday parties where the children get to build crowns and meet Santa and the Easter Bunny. They also have extras like unlimited classes around the holidays and in the summer. As far as customer service, it's on a Four Seasons hotel level, seriously. Miss a class? No problem. You can make it up. Changed your mind about which day you want your child to attend? If there is room, they will put your child in the class you want. Their team of professionals take the word "flexible" to new levels. It's always a joy communicating with their helpful, friendly staff. I highly recommend!Dance 02/16/2017
Tutu School Larkspur is a magical place where little dancers can dance their hearts away, have fun, and learn about ballet basics. I love sending my daughter to Tutu School, and seeing the twinkle in her eyes as she twirls around. The founder of this school is magical herself, and you can tell she wants a quality experience for the little ones. This is my daughters second year at Tutu School and she absolutely loves it! Every teacher she's had has been amazing and Genevieve (owner), Rachel (franchise coordinator), and everyone who I've been in correspondence with is helpful, warm, and friendly. Every event that Tutu School puts on is so much fun not only for the dancers but for the family as well. Events are well-planned and detail oriented. My older daughter, now age 6, started out in the Tutu Toddlers class, then the Exploring Ballet level, and is now taking the Primary Ballet Prep classes (or as she calls it- Big Girl Ballet) and she has LOVED every class. Tutu School is great for any kid who loves music, dance, performing, or creativity in general. The dancers learn steps and positions (and even choreography when they prepare for recitals) but they also explore different types of movement, and learn about the ballet stories as well. The studio is gorgeous and inviting, and the teachers and staff are fantastic. Honestly, you won't find a better studio for your little dancer!
