Benicia Youth Soccer League

Benicia Arsenal FC is the name of our local soccer club, which does business as the Benicia Youth Soccer League, a non-profit organization.

Benicia Arsenal FC aims to provide a variety of great soccer programs for your child to participate in. From our Home page you are able to select ’Soccer Programs’, and from that drop down menu discover a variety of soccer programs that your child can sign up for in order to best develop their potential in the sport.

Benicia Arsenal Futbol Club (FC) is a club with teams competing at all levels of competitve soccer and is a well known soccer program in Solano County and throughout Northern California boasting teams who have won State Cup/s and numerous tournament awards. We play ’Select’ travel soccer within the US Soccer sanctioned ’NorCal Premier’ soccer leagues and also have teams competing within the CYSA sanctioned Cal North program. Players are selected during a Tryout process and are picked based on talent to form the best teams to represent our soccer club. Players from Benicia and our surrounding areas are welcome and encouraged to tryout for our teams. This program is for players aged 8-18 years of age. (Although we also offer a U8 Academy - see the Camps and Clinics section for more details.)

Most players begin their soccer journey in Benicia or choose to continue to play soccer outside the ’Travel’ side of the club by signing up for our extremely popular In House ’Recreational’ Fall soccer League that begins in August and runs until mid November. This program provides a fun and focused training program with ten weeks of league games. Parent volunteer coaches are supported by our Age Group coordinators, House / training coordinators, and Director of Coaching. Our volunteers gain support from a professional training staff. This program is available for all players aged 4-18 years of age.

Benicia Arsenal FC has a professional coaching staff led by Director of Coaching Alex Lobban which includes fully licensed NSCAA coaches and trainers.

In addition to these core programs we have Indoor Futsal, Winter Academy, Spring Training, Summer Soccer Camps, and Goalkeeper Academy programs to enable your player/s to find access to soccer in Benicia no matter what time of year.
